ЩО ТРИВОЖИТЬ АМЕРИКУ: СУЧАСНА СЕКСУАЛЬНІСТЬ ТА БІОПОЛІТИКА ПЕРЕСЕЛЕНСЬКОГО КОЛОНІАЛІЗМУ

Анотація

Колонізація Америки – це історія культурного імперіалізму, насильства та деструк-ції. Останні розвідки в галузі вивчення корінних народів доводять, що завоювання індіан-ців та націоналістична ідея, наслідками яких стало поневолення корінних народів, може розумітися як акт терору, який породив «колоніальну некрополітику, що представляє корінних жителів як квір-популяцію, приречену на смерть» (Морґенсен). Замість того, щоб вибудовувати досвід індіанців як неперервну віктимізацію та акти винищення як форми «некрополітики» (Мбембе), у цій статті я аналізую останні літературні та ку-льтурні продукти, в яких критикується квір-фобія, колоніалізм та расизм у руслі тран-снаціональної деколоніальної боротьби. Серед іншого, я зосереджуюсь на збігах між студіями, що вивчають корінне населення та сексуальні меншини (Indigenous and Queer Studies), та презентую низку культурних продуктів так званих митців із двома душами. Серед них я хочу презентувати полотна та зображення корінного мультидисциплінар-ного митця Кента Монкмена
